Longest ride so far on the new bike, 190 miles. It's ridiculously easy to ride at any speed.
Today a whistle stop tour of the Yorkshire dales, Skipton, Settle with a stop at an 'off the beaten track' cafe in a tiny place called Faizor. Then onward via Ribblehead viaduct and Buttertubs pass to Aysgarth falls and another tea break.
Then a more direct route home. A bit of a panic at one point as I seemed to be running out of fuel. As my last bar on the fuel gauge started flashing a range remaining counter appeared with 31 miles left. Panic over. 14.56 litres of fuel in exchange for 173 miles of great fun. Bargain. Thanks to Mick for organising and the other riders and pillion's for their company.
