We held our 3rd Post Christmas Auction on Wednesday 25th January 2006, in the back room of the Grey Horse, Kirkgate, Wakefield.
In addition to a large turnout from our own members, we were particularly pleased to have in attendance at our auction, members of York MAG, Bradford MAG and the Ruf Diamonds MCC. Particular thanks go to all those who donated so many quality items to the raffle, which as well as individual donations, included items from:
We had a huge amount of stuff to sell and amazingly, we managed to clear the lot. Everyone had a brilliant time and we managed to raise £288 which is truly impressive, particularly as the bidding on most items started at 50p or less. We have rounded this figure up to £300 from branch funds and have donated £200 to the MAG fighting fund and £100 to the Wakefield Hospice.
It was a cracking night and a huge thanks again to everyone who attended, donated items, and parted with their hard-earned cash.
