East Anglia Region holds Hunstanton Parking Fees Protest Demo

Five members of Wakefield & District MAG had a ride out to Kings Lynn on Saturday March 6th to join the East Anglia Region protest demo against the introduction of motorcycle parking fees in the seaside town of Hunstanton. Wakefield MAG met fellow members of the Yorkshire Region from the Sheffield Branch at the meeting point in Kings Lynn, where 300 bikes were assembled for the demo ride. The demo ride left at 1:00pm prompt under police escort for the short journey along the A149 to Hunstanton. A large number of tourists and locals welcomed the procession of bikes into the town and to the Green, a traditional bikers meeting point. Local press were there to cover the event and two members of Wakefield MAG were interviewed by Eastern Daily Press reporters.
