For our third memorial ride-out (dedicated to the Memory of dear friends and ex-Members of the Branch who are sadly no longer with us), we'd decided on a ride to Whitby (a favourite of the late John Hannon, if only for the fish n chips).
Who went: Cathy, Caz, Chas, Clare, Johnno, Kane, Sarah, Lorna (and Grandson Thomas), Martin, Neil, Terry, Sharon and Bob (who came to see us off!)

Places on route: Pontefract, Brotherton, Hillam, Gateforth, Selby, North Duffield, Foggathorpe, Holme-on Spalding Moor, Middleton-on-the-Wolds, Driffield, Langtoft, Foxholes, Staxton, Seamer, East Ayton, Everley, Hackness, Fylingdales, Ruswarp and Whitby.
Events of the day: We had breakfast, we set off, we stopped for the toilet, we went on some fast open roads, we slowed down through the villages, we went on some fun narrow twisty's, we parked up in Whitby, we walked to the harbour side, we had some food, we walked a bit more, Chas and Cathy got on a bus, we played crazy golf (Clare won with 2 x holes in one - didn't buy a celebratory round though !!!), we rode onto Scarborough, we parked up again, we had another walk, we had ice cream (Cathy had 2 !!!), we set off home, it rained on the way home, we got wet, we had a bloody good day out!!!!
