Rideout to the British Commercial Vehicle Museum (Leyland, Lancs) - Sunday 26th June 2016

Five members on three bikes met at the Redbeck Cafe for the ride to Leyland in Lancashire, taking the scenic route via Horbury, Huddersfield, Halifax and Sowerby Bridge (where Sam was waiting to join us), then onto Hebden Bridge, had a short delay at passport control whilst passing into Lancashire, then through Bacup, Blackburn, Leyland and our final destination, the British Commercial Vehicle Museum.

After a spot of lunch, Kane and Sarah decided to head home whilst the rest of us went inside the museum. We were suitably impressed - What a gem of a museum, showing off a bygone era of old lorries and buses.

In the Museum

When we came out of the museum it had started raining (well, we were in Lancashire ;-). Cue Angry Face, Wet Weather gear on and a unanimous decision to make the return journey the quick way back, via the M61 & M62 into sunny Yorkshire .... cue Happy Face.

A huge thanks to Terry and Sam for leading at various points; Sharon, Kane and Sarah for attending the Rideout too and making it a very enjoyable day for all.
