Five Wakefield MAG members attended the Leeds MAG Halloween Party on Friday 26th October, at the Parkfield Suite, Stanningley. In addition to Leeds MAG (they had to be there, it was their do !!), there was also strong turnout from Huddersfield MAG, East Leeds Lions MCC and Team Sober MCC, together with two from Peterborough MAG.
We were treated to 2 sets by live band Resurgence together with a rock disco.
We all had a go at the raffle and managed to win a goody bag of prizes, courtesy of Bennetts the insurers, and Peterborough MAG (who had persuaded Bennetts to part with some of their show handouts). The goody bag we won was well worth having as it contained a pair of bike gloves, neck warmer, keyring, side stand plate and other sundry items. The gloves don't fit so they are going into our auction in January !!!!
Most people were in fancy dress, including Mick & Eddie from our branch, and some of the outfits and halloween make-up, were simply brilliant.
As the old saying goes, everyone had a fantastic time, it was great to catch up with a lot of people and have a good chinwag, and the drink positively flowed !!!
